In our time here at Synthtube, we’ve come across a crazy Polish fellow who on Youtube simply describes himself as “Jexus”.

To say that he is a collector and maestro of synthesizers would be an understatement. A short peruse of his website indicates that this man has made a lifelong PASSION out of sourcing some of the best, and more importantly most OBSCURE synthesizers known to man.

This in and of itself would be impressive enough, but this guy also happens to have serious SKILL and TALENT in forcing these synths to create noises to his whim. To use the parlance of the title of this post, he PHRACKS his synths till they respond exactly as asks them to. His skill is beyond compare in this regard.

In this video, he PHRACKS a Nord Lead Synth – a synth we didn’t consider much more than a decent lead synth until this point – to the point that it screams, wails and sings in ways that are quite frankly, inconcievable to average synth users or laughably – VA Synth noodlers.

All of this is made all the more awesome and entertaining by the fact that he seems to record all of his synth-phracking-adventures using pure analog gear – though he doesn’t advertise it (we have the ears that can hear it) – and recorded in cheap VHS video. The little VHS clips from mass media that he interjects into his noodlings make them all the more compelling, and entertaining.

This man deserves absolute props for his puritanism in the realm of the analog noise-phracking department. We give him as many stars as the analog-f*ckery scale will recognise for his sonic-bastardry.

Sit back, put your headphones on, and prepare to be amazed by the warmth and analog goodness of “Jexus” f*cking around on a Nord Lead synth.
